Cognitive Decline

Cognitive decline can be a slow process due to aging or a rapid change due to injury or disease. HBOT treats both types of Cognitive decline and can even be used in prevention.

IS QUICK THINKING A THING OF THE PAST? REGENERATE YOUR FUTURE AND GET YOUR BRAIN BACK TO FULL POWER.

Keep forgetting where you left your keys? Do you need to read the same paragraph three times? Can't remember numbers like you used to? HBOT can help change that.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is one of the best kept secrets of world leaders, celebrities, and A-list athletes to stay at the top of their game.

HBOT is scientifically proven to provide the needed energy (oxygen) to generate new stem cells that stimulate healing and rejuvenation in the brain. The capabilities are proven, extensive, and incredibly exciting.

The new stem cells (neurogenesis) and blood vessels (angiogenesis) generated, can reverse cognitive decline caused by aging, injury, or diseases including Parkinson’s, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and more.

These results are apparent in pre and post functional brain scans and cognitive testing.

A recent study showed that HBOT had significant positive effects on cognitive function including:

  • Global Cognitive Function

  • Memory (Verbal, Non-Verbal)

  • Attention

  • Information Processing Speed

  • Overall Improved Quality of Life

HBOT :

  • Restores tissue oxygenation.

  • Increases oxygen to the brain.

  • Promotes neurogenesis (nerve regeneration).

  • Promotes angiogenesis (blood vessel regeneration).

  • Improves brain function.

  • Is successfully used in patients with Long COVID with cognitive impairment.

  • Gets you back to square one.

How HBOT works.

Your body uses oxygen to make energy to heal. Ten times the Oxygen. Time times the healing. Simple SCIENCE.

The air we breathe contains about 20.9% oxygen, 78% nitrogen and small amounts of argon, carbon dioxide, neon, helium and hydrogen. The air we inhale contains oxygen molecules that travel from our lungs in red blood cells, through our bloodstream throughout the body.

Under normal conditions, cells absorb only 25% oxygen into their mitochondria – the power house of our cells (yes, the same ones you learned about in high school biology) – that convert oxygen and nutrients into ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate), the high-energy molecule that stores and provides our body energy to function. This process is called aerobic respiration, the principal reason we breathe oxygen.

Inside a Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber (HBOT), hyperoxia (excess oxygen) and hyperbaric pressure forces the oxygen into our lungs, bloodstream, and lymphatic system to increase cellular absorption. More Oxygen is supplied to mitochondria, thus enhancing energy production.

Under conditions of pressure (for example 1.5 Atmosphere Absolute or ATA), lungs can absorb more oxygen than breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure. The circulatory system carries oxygen throughout the body to help fight bacteria, improve viral response, and help the body to increase the oxygen supply where it is needed, at the cellular level.

Under normal conditions, the oxygen level in our arteries can reach 100mm Hg (millimeters of mercury) and 39mm Hg in our veins. Inside a hyperbaric chamber at 1.5 ATA, the oxygen level in our arteries can reach 1036 mm Hg and 404mm Hg in our veins. This is a ten-fold increase over normal conditions.

HBOT restores tissue oxygenation and improves function.

The ideal supply of Oxygen.

Organic tissues need an ideal supply of oxygen to function. Injured tissue requires more oxygen to survive. HBOT increases the amount of oxygen carried by blood to restore and stimulate healing.
